Day-1 : Arrive Delhi by Flight

Arrive Delhi, meet assist at the airport & transfer to hotel. Night stay in Delhi.

Day-2 : Delhi

Morning breakfast. After breakfast depart for morning tour of Delhi visiting Raj Ghat, the National Memorial of the father of the Nation, Jama Masjid and drive past Red Fort and Chandni Chowk. Afternoon visit Qutub Minar built by Qutub-ud-Din Aibek in 1199, Humayun`s Tomb, India Gate (War Memorial Arch ), Lakshminarayan Temple – a modern Hindu Temple. Also drive past President`s House, Parliament House, Government Secretariat Buildings and Connaught Place and then to Dilli Haat. Overnight at Hotel. Explore old Delhi lanes on an Eco friendly Rickshaw

Day-3 : Delhi - Jaipur(265 kms/7 hrs)

Morning breakfast. After breakfast proceed to Jaipur by surface. Arrive Jaipur. The capital of Rajasthan is popularly known as the `pink city` because of the ochre-pink hue of its old buildings and crenellated city walls. The Rajputs considered pink to be a colour associated with hospitality, and are reputed to have daubed the city in preparation for the visit of Britain`s Prince Alfred in 1853. This tradition and Jaipur`s welcoming, relaxed air continue to this day. Overnight in Hotel.

Day-4 : Jaipur

Morning Breakfast. After breakfast we leave for the spectacular Amber Fort,on an Elephant Back(subject to availability) , a magnificent fortress protecting, in turn, a complex of palaces, temples and exquisite marble & mirror-inlaid halls and apartments. Afternoon tour of Jaipur – We`ll visit the old city, the Maharaja`s City Palace as well as the Observatory. Then we`ll take a short drive through the residential and business districts and we`ll stop to photograph the Hawa Mahal (Palace of the Winds) along the way. Overnight in Hotel.

Day-5 : JAIPUR / RANTHAMBHORE

Early morning leave for Ranthambore. On arrival check into Hotel. Ranthambore, Wild Life Park, a tiger reserve The Ranthambhore National Park stretches across an area of 1,334 sq km on the eastern edge of the Thar Desert. Once the hunting grounds of the erstwhile ruling family of Jaipur, today it is one of the last sanctuaries of the big cat, the Royal Bengal Tiger. Ranthambhore is the favourite haunt of wildlife buffs and professional wildlife photographers from around the world who come to see tigers, panthers, wild cats, hyena, jackal, marsh crocodile, wild boar, bears, many species of deer and a rich birdlife of over 300 species, including the great Indian horned owl. In the afternoon, visit the park in Jeep or Canter. Overnight at Hotel.

Day-6 : RANTHAMBHORE

Early Morning, depart for morning jungle safari. Jungle safaris conducted by Special Jungle Safari Vehicles accompanied by a naturalist. Its cold in the mornings and advisable to take head covers and light woolens along. Morning Breakfast. Noon free for relaxation. Late afternoon second jungle safari. Overnight at Hotel.

Day-7 : RANTHAMBHORE /BHARATPUR/ AGRA (BY CAR)

Morning breakfast. After breakfast at the hotel, proceed by car to Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary in Keoladeo national Park. Later proceed for Agra. Upon arrival in Agra check into Hotel. Agra, the city of the Taj Mahal, described as the most extravagant monument ever built for love, has become the de facto tourist emblem of India. Overnight at Hotel.

Day-8 : AGRA

Morning breakfast. After Breakfast, visit the world famous Taj Mahal built by the Moghul Emperor Shahjehan in 1630 for his Queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains. Later visit the Agra Fort containing the Pearl Mosque, the Halls of Public and Private Audience. Also visit the Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daullah built by Empress Noorjehan in memory of her father. Visit Fatehpur Sikri. Fatehpur Sikri is 40 kms from Agra and built by Emperor Akbar in 1569 and abandoned after 15 years due to scarcity of water. Overnight at Hotel.

Day-9 : AGRA /JHANSI (BY TRAIN) JHANSI / ORCCHA

Early morning proceed to railway station to board train for Jhansi. Arrive Jhansi and proceed to Orccha. (18 Kms from Jhansi) Orchha`s grandeur has been captured in stone, frozen in time; a rich legacy to the ages. In this medieval city, the hand of time has rested lightly and the palaces and temples built by it`s Bundela rulers in the 16th and 17th centuries retain much of their pristine perfection. Overnight at Hotel.

Day-10 : ORCCHA /KHAJURAHO (4 HRS / 172 KMS )

Morning breakfast at leisure. After breakfast, time free to walk around the quaint little village of Orccha on your own. Later proceed to Khajuraho by surface. Arrive Khajuraho and transfer to Hotel. Khajuraho is known the world over for its temples, architecture and sculpture. Proceed for the sound and light show. Overnight at Hotel.

Day-11 : KHAJURAHO/VARANASI (BY AIR)

Morning breakfast. Proceed for tour of the age old temples. The construction of these Temples, thousand-year old, took a little over two centuries, in terms of architecture of these temples, they form the high peak of the north Indian `nagara` style. Of the 85 temples believed to have been built between the 9th and 12th centuries only 20 have survived, many in splendid condition, others having given way to the ravages of time and nature. Proceed to airport to board flight to Varanasi. Arrive Varanasi. Varanasi(Banaras), the oldest living city in Asia with one of the richest past, is known the world over for its Ghats(river banks), Ganga, religion, food, handicrafts or lifestyle and most importantly, the philosophy of ‘Living life every moment… kingsize…’ Overnight at Hotel.

Day-12 : VARANASI

Early morning boat excursion on the river Ganges, a ferry pilgrimage from ghat to ghat. People bathe early in the morning to offer the prayers to the rising sun. The two cremation ghats are Manikarnika & Harishchandra where funeral pyre burns day and night. Every pious Hindu believes that to die in Kashi and to be cremated on banks of the Ganges is to attain release from the cycle of birth and death. Proceed to a tour of Sarnath, the seat where Buddha gave his first sermons to his 5 disciples. Overnight at Hotel.

Day-13 : VARANASI/BODHGAYA (5 HRS / 240 KMS)

Morning Breakfast. Proceed to Bodhgaya by surface, Arrive Bodhgaya and transfer to hotel. Overnight at Hotel.

Day-14 : BODHGAYA

Morning Breakfast. Explore town for its religious importance. It is famous for being the place of Gautama Buddha’s attainment of Nirvana. Visit Mahabodhi Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Overnight at Hotel.

Day-15 : BODHGAYA / VARANASI (BY SURFACE) VARANASI / MUMBAI / GOA (BY AIR)

Morning Breakfast. Proceed to Varanasi airport to board flight to Mumbai and then to Goa. Arrive Goa and check into hotel. Laze on soft white sandy beaches or go parasailing in the skies; savor candlelit dinners or opt for all-night long rave parties; sit under swaying coconut palms or opt for tall laterite cliffs; enjoy the music and revelry, the monsoons and the fire. Overnight at Hotel.

Day-16 : GOA

Morning Breakfast. After breakfast, Full day city tour covering north and south Goa tour of old churches, Panaji, Miramar and Dona Paula. Overnight at the Hotel.
